PokerFi: Ecosystem Development

Convenience is a major aspect of a currency. So what is a currency, and what is the point of it? A currency in the most specific sense is money in any form when in use or circulation as a medium of exchange. Also, a currency is considered a form of a store of value. Let’s take Bitcoin as an example. It takes a certain amount of electricity to form a Bitcoin and demand that gives it the definition of a currency. However, as the popularity of digital assets such as BTC and LTC expand, the waste of energy and environmental damage caused by the mining of physical mining machines have become obvious problems. In fact, almost 1% of the world’s electricity is allocated to Bitcoin mining. In addition, the current public chain is becoming more and more concentrated, so it is a lot more difficult for chains to communicate with each other which holds down the entire space. In the past 6 months, the Ethereum blockchain experienced high congestion because of the influx of users, so sending transactions became drastically expensive or basically unusable.

What We do Different

With PokerFi, we are looking to expand on the meaning of a currency through the backing of eco-friendly mining to distribute the token. To begin, introducing gamified mining will completely revolutionize the crypto space as it brings the same output of mining the token with an environmentally friendly twist. Through the combination of Game-NFT and IP-NFT, backed by DeFi+NFT, we are attempting to establish an innovative system for our ecosystem.

This comes with the development of an NFT exchange, which will increase demand for the PK token. Our products will increase the use case of the token to further develop the project. Outside of our ecosystem, we will look for partners to collaborate with for the use case and collaboration of our NFT platform. As we continue developing, V2 will introduce more scenes and light social functions, and finally let players take part and promote more innovative gameplay through the first “Unbounded Contract”, giving players more rights and space.
